While living in Austin, Texas, I painted my then-girlfriend Rosie Flores as a zombie. A number of people commented that the building frame resembled 9/11, but I replied that wasn't the reference. I used photos from a war torn area in the middle east. This was eventually used as the cover for the Jack Bantry released Splatterpunk compilation "Past Indiscretions. Oil on canvas, 17" by 11".
