I was born and raised in Brooklyn, my art career began in the world of graffiti in the early 90’s. My love of everything art led me on the path to art school in where I attended the School of Visual Arts and became an apprentice in New York City at XXX Tattoo. I was given an amazing opportunity in 1997. Richie Bulldog owner of the world famous brand Hustle Butter Deluxe helped me become an apprentice under Sean Vasquez and Mike Bellamy and help create XXX Tattoo. I truly had no idea on were this path would lead. Over the next 18 years I was given some amazing opportunities from designing cars, motorcycles, clothing for some of the largest companies in the fashion industry, art shows, art books, magazines and I was able to learn from some of the most amazing tattoo artists at that time. Sean Vasquez, Mike Bellamy, Needles, Kaz, Scott Duncan, Steve Boltz, Phuc Tran, Thomas Murphy, Filip Leu, Bernie Luther, Forest, and Hanky Panky are just a few of the artists that I owe my career too. About ten years in XXX Tattoo became what is now the famous Red Rocket Tattoo. I got married to my wonderful wife and had two amazing children.
In 2013 I left Red Rocket Tattoo to start my own life adventure. After leaving I started Ghost Gallery Tattoo in Bethpage NY. What a mistake! The wonderful corrupt politics of the town made me jump through hoops for permits etc… with no avail. In 2013 I was given the chance to design a line of coloring books for Dover Publishing under the Creative Haven line.
In 2014 comes the good with the bad. I had no choice but to close Ghost Gallery for good and loose a ton of cash but in return I received a call from Ink master and the rest is history. I finished in the top three, beat out 80,015 other artists and have been blessed with making some life long friends and I am able to share my artistic vision with the world.
