Our flesh is a journal in a way. Where every tattoo tells a story, leaving a personalized mark that reminds us of a specific time in ones life. Making it a true home and fit temple for the spirit that dwells inside it. Therefore, is a way of keeping the spiritual and material needs of the body in balance.
Known on Earth as Johnny Berrios, he grew up in Connecticut and from very young he was always influenced by art. Life changed one cloudy New England afternoon when his older brother came up with the idea of tattooing. Johnny dove in head first but struggled with little help and no experience than in 2004 Sean O'Hara gave him the opportunity to work aside Nick Baxter, Lou Jacque, Nick Trammel and a few other guys at Darkside tattoo. There he picked up various techniques on how to use colors and to be more creative with the art of tattooing. Soon after Johnny got a chance to work for a new shop in Massachusetts called Off the Map owned by Gabe Ripley and got to be around lots of great artist allowing him to continue to grow and do lots of traveling. Not long after that expanding into oil painting to keep progressing.
In 2010 Johnny decided he had enough of them grey skies so moved to the sunshine state to the great city of Orlando with his family. When finally got the job at Ascension tattoo he knew Orlando and Ascension were his home.
Johnny aims to give customers whatever they want and making them happy. He Loves doing custom pieces and color work, but also enjoy black and grey. Johnny enjoys a challenge and trying new things.
