-Hello, thank you for taking some time to view my work. I have been a proud tattoo artist around and in the city of Pittsburgh since 2001. Began my apprenticeship during my college education at Penn State. Over my career I have gotten to work at many fine studios and meet many fine and unique people and artists during my career so far. Even had many years of traveling to tattoo in numerous tattoo conventions in the north-eastern part of America.
-Growing up in the tattoo world in my area there was a great need to be very diverse in styles and different requests customers would bring to you. For this reason I never became a artist who felt he had a calling to a certain style. Just a appreciation for as many different aspects of tattoo art and art in general was important to absorb. But some of my personal art directions I feel I enjoy and have a strong skill towards would be high contrast horror related portraits, fantasy, and trash polka just to name a few of my personal favorites. Deep down some of the best work too do are new ideas or styles that give you that feeling of learning something new about art and about yourself I feel.
-Sadly as of 2 years ago I currently work a personal and private studio due to health problems. I learned the terror of possibly losing the ability to continue to my life and passion in the tattoo world. Years of issues progressed and got worse to the point I was bedridden and lost a lot of control of body and motor skills. Luckily with the help of my doctors I found out I was in the late stages of Lyme Disease. Lots of treatment and therapy over the last year and a half has got me working on a steady basis again but autoimmune problems do not allow me to be in public areas for long periods without health issues arising. Lyme disease is a non-communicable chronic infection so I pose no health risk to others due to my medical issues fortunately. Maybe it was for the best in the long run, knowing the feeling of what the chance of losing the ability to preform a tattoo again and coming back slowly has really gave me a new passion and appreciation. What I thought was love for my career before has increased exponentially and am eager to keep working and keep pushing myself to progress as a tattoo artist. Thank you for reading take care and be safe.
