I have 20 years of tattoo experience. I have been making tattoos at Omaha's best and most premier tattoo shops for nearly a decade of that time. I am currently a resident artist at Tenth Sanctum Tattoo located at 1010 S 10th St, Omaha, Nebraska in downtown near the Old Market area. Tenth Sanctum Tattoo is not only Nebraska's most premier tattoo shop, but it also offers one of the most unique tattoo experiences in the entire nation. I consider myself very lucky to be a part of this amazing team. My tattoo style is a freehand approach with a focus on Traditional Japanese and American style tattoos. I also specialize in a wide range from black and grey portraits to custom lettering. My goal with each piece is to create a bold and timeless look that flows well with the body and stands the test of time.
My interest and curiosity for tattooing began when I was a young child seeing the reaper tattoo that my uncle had on his back and dragon sleeve my cousin had. Back then tattoos were not nearly as excepted as they are now, and especially in Missouri's bible belt, were still very much subcultural. I got my first tattoo in 2003 of a reaper and never looked back. I began my tattoo career with my apprenticeship in 2004, at a shop in Missouri's Ozarks. Since then, tattooing has given me the freedom to travel, and I have worked in shops and conventions from Oregan to Florida, and in between. Now, my focus is on more large-scale work. I enjoy painting and tattooing old school flash. I also build custom tattoo machines and components. I enjoy working with my clients to help them express themselves through the unique art styles that I have developed over the years.
