After graduating from architecture school at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn in 2011, I moved to Seoul, South Korea for a year. In Seoul, several fantastic artists tattooed me, inspiring me to make my way into the industry. After moving back to Brooklyn, I started brief apprenticeship at Asylum studios in Williamsburg. After a couple of years in Williamsburg, I decided to slow down and work privately, dividing my time between art and tattooing.
My background is in fine art and it is reflected in my tattoo work. A good challenge can come in the form of a complex piece or in creating something from a vague description. Whether realistic or abstract, delicate or bold, I approach every project with enthusiasm and attention. Most importantly, the client is an integral part of the process. Step by step, we create the piece together.
