I am Raymond Sanchez. I did my first tattoo in March of 2006, and started working fulltime at Twilight Tattoo in Lynwood, California on September 2006. Self taught, my influences are Robert Hernandez, Bob Tyrell, Filip Lue, Shige, as well as others. My brother Richard started tattooing a year before me ,the little time he had tattooing showed and gave me a good start in tattooing.
What I want in tattooing is to strive for creativity ,defined, dynamic work. Not necessarily photo/realism, I love detail on every tattoo, simple when its needed and appropriate. I also just started oil painting on October 2009 when I get a chance I paint.
What I would like to expose in my career is to be unique in my own way , I’d say I still have some years to come to actually find my forte. as I am new to this I would say, I have a lot to learn, from who are there and willing to teach me or show me what I don’t know. Everything has been done there is no unique tattoo in this planet only talent , potential, and techniques of your own.
