Redbird Electric Tattooing is a new shop to Springfield, Illinois, but our roots run deep. All of our tattoo artists have worked in and around the area for several years, and have been hand picked for quality and drive. Our focus is to keep our tattoos contemporary while staying grounded in tradition.
Redbird Electric was established in hopes of offering a respite from the popular large "studio" motif of most tattoo shops in Springfield. Instead, its owner Brian McCormic, who has been tattooing since 2002, wanted to re-introduce his clients to the more cozy and classic "Parlor" style of tattoo shop. Redbird houses only 3 full time tattoo artists, and focuses on lasting quality, as opposed to flash in the pan, trending styles.
