Meet Sixx, a passionate tattoo artist who knew his calling at just 13 years old. It was then that he first declared to the world his dream of becoming a tattoo artist, and after doing his first stick and poke, he was hooked for life. Growing up, he was the kid who always got in trouble for doodling on everything from books to walls, and that creative spirit has only flourished over the years. Sixx honed his craft through an initial mentorship at in San Antonio, Texas, where he blended his street art and graffiti experience into his tattooing. Since the 90s, he has been fortunate enough to own his own shops, travel coast to coast, and participate in numerous conventions, all while forging lifelong friendships along the way. Tattooing is at the heart of Sixx's artistic expression, complemented by his love for drawing, painting, and exploring life with his four fantastic marching band kids. With a background from the Art Institute of Phoenix and Nossi College of Art, focusing on Art History and Commercial Graphic Design, he brings 25 years of diverse artistic experience to his tattooing.
