Hey there! I'm Sixx—a lifelong artist and tattoo enthusiast who's been in love with ink since I was 13. With over 20 years of professional experience, I've built a versatile portfolio, blending fine-line work, bold colors, and creative styles to bring unique ideas to life.
I got my start through a mentorship in San Antonio, Texas, where I combined my love for graffiti and street art with traditional tattoo techniques. Since the '90s, I've had the chance to own shops, travel coast to coast, participate in conventions, and connect with amazing people along the way. One proud moment was in 2017, when—with the help of dedicated family and friends—I helped open Model City Ink in Anniston, Alabama. It became the first tattoo studio allowed in the city's business district since a 1917 ban, marking a meaningful chapter in local tattoo history.
Outside the studio, I'm all about drawing, painting, and hanging with my four awesome marching band kids. I've studied Art History and Commercial Graphic Design at the Art Institute of Phoenix and Nossi College of Art, which adds depth and intentionality to every design I create. When you're in my chair, expect a laid-back vibe, a few bad dad jokes, and a tattoo experience that's all about telling your story through custom, one-of-a-kind art.
