Born and raised in Hawaii, recently relocated to Salt Lake City to further my career as an artist. I started tattooing at the age of 22 back in 2009. I am a self taught/ freehand polynesian tattooist. I chose to tattoo to bring a different sense of purpose and meaning behind polynesian art. I had set out on this journey to put the purpose of our cultural designs back into the art itself. We are in an age of evolution and progression and the polynesian art form has evolved immensely, and along with the evolution the purpose was lost. Although my background is mixed newstyle/oldschool Polynesian, I push myself to tattoo all aspects of art, to be a versatile artist, I constantly push to reinvent myself and my art, I choose to freehand every piece so the piece becomes one of a kind complete custom art, In Polynesian Culture we may have a similar cultural background but who we are inside is what sets us apart.
