“Bold will Hold! Bright and Right!” Coming to us from Orange County, CA, Tyler brings to Black Lotus just that! Beginning his tattoo career in 2005, Tyler looked up to the traditional tattooers in Southern California such as Eric Maaske, Sid Stankovits, Bob Roberts, Rick Walters… and old timers such as Sailor Jerry Collins, Cap Coleman, Bert Grimm, Don Ed Hardy, Stoney St. Clair….Just to name a few. The boldness of the linework. How the colors were so simple but spoke so loudly and the black shade seemed to take over The designs…so classic and timeless that they still held true to today. These aspects really are what made him want to persue this lifestyle.
When not tattooing, Tyler loves to paint and sketch, spend time with his family, His lady Melissa and his two kids. He enjoys exploring the open areas of Arizona and seeing new places.
