Velvet Panther Insurance Program was developed by Zem Insurance Solutions. It is owned and operated out of California by industry professionals. It was designed and built around what Artists & Piercers actually wanted. Kimberly Zem established the insurance agency and has shared a connection with the tattoo industry for over ten years prior to Velvet Panther.
While specializing in Commercial, Construction & Main Street Business Insurance Solutions, she discovered a wide-spread discontent from Tattoo Artists and Piercers alike explaining their frustrations with their then current insurance options. We don’t claim to be the cheapest and we won’t work with kitchen magicians, sloppy or dirty artists, tattoo school graduates or portfolio thieves. We are extremely devoted and passionate about supporting the integrity of the traditions, history and future of this beloved art community many of us call home. We know what we offer is extraordinary and that our service standards are high.
